Connection ~ Are you yearning? I am.

"Our lives disconnect and reconnect, we move on, and later we may again touch one another, again bounce away. This is the felt shape of a human life, neither simply linear nor wholly disjunctive nor endlessly bifurcating, but rather this bouncey-castle sequence of bumpings-into and tumblings-apart." ~ Salman Rushdie ...(The Ground Beneath Her Feet)

Most of us fashion our lives around activities; work, sports, dance, children's activities and not around really nurturing relationships, really connecting with those we live our lives with. In the busyness of our lives we often lose connections to friends, extended family, those who make up the memories of our childhood, high school, young adulthood. Reconnecting, maintaining, and sustaining those relationships can make life so much richer. Is there someone in your past whom you miss? Don't wait another minute, call her or him...and reconnect. People do not know that you are thinking about them unless you let them know.
