Facebook In Her Peace: “Be an opener of doors for such as come after thee.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Act...ually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

When I read Emerson's Open Door quotes, Maryanne Williamson's quote came to me as well. We often do not realize the power we each have to make a difference in the world.

Today: I am going to make a difference in the world by sponsoring a child to go to Sunsplash with the Child Crisis Center.

Think about a cause that is dear to your heart. Is there something you can do to make a difference? ~ Love and Blessings, Janet

Facebook In Her Peace: “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” ~ Anais Nin, 1903-1977, French author and poet

We tend to live more in our heads than in our hearts, thinking more than feeling our way through our day. It seems safer and less vulnerable that way, but it also ...keeps us disconnected. Look around....what do you see? Now close your eyes...and move your awareness down into your heart...breathe naturally...and spend a few moments being with your heart...allowing yourself to feel whatever is there...~Love and Blessings, Janet

Love ~ May it surround you today

"'God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone, but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars.' ~ Martin Luther

On our morning walk we came across this carving in a mesquite tree. I felt like God was hugging our entire family in that moment. How sweet it is to be loved....:-) ~ Love and Blessings to You this morning :-)"
