There is a way...

And it is easier than we think. I was just purusing some of my favorite blogs this evening and was so inspired that I have to share. First up, Tracy Lau Art & Soul, who is a phenom, posted this gorgeous and inspiring photo.

It can really be that easy, can't it? What burning desire have you been putting off? What fears, reasons, obstacles, excuses do you have for not following your dream?

Sometimes, we need to free up our hearts, minds and souls in order to take that first step. Another sweet blogging friend, Kim, of A Creative Spirit reminded me of a New Testament verse that was the theme of a women's workshop I attended about a decade ago. "Cast all your worries on Him, for He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7. The lesson was to not keep taking the worries back.  Our exercise was to create little worry boxes, and then prayerfully write our worries on little strips of paper and place them in the boxes to symbolically give them up to God. I have to admit that in the last few months I haven't felt as connected to God as I would like and it hasn't been an easy journey back. This photo beautifully illustrates it...to begin, begin. I did it, and you can too. :-) ~Blessings, Janet

  3. Hi, Love. I have been thinking about you a lot lately. And if I am being honest, worrying a bit, too. Are you ok? The last couple of emails we traded had me thinking; please know that you are in my thoughts and I continue to pray for that beautiful spirit of yours, that all is well and that you will find a comforting peace for whatever is heavy on your heart.

    I miss you!
